As for No.3, there are many schools where the students can learn about therapy but they hardly know about the job as a therapist in Japan.
Even at the large hospitals, therapists are part-timers. Therefore, the students do not choose the therapists as their jobs after the graduation. Their parents hope that they will find more stable full time job.
To make therapist an attractive job, the job as a therapist has to make reasonable salaries, and it should not be a volunteer job. Otherwise, we will never be able to have enough therapists in Japan.

I recently talked to the founder of the early intervention center in Tokyo where Taro is on the waiting list for therapy. The waiting period is 2 years on average. But, even that center, they are in debt. This is caused mostly by the fact that the center purchased a real estate;
buildings and lands. To avoid problem, I would do the home therapy which is very common for ABA therapy, although it is required to set up the office for the company under Japanese law, so I would use my home as an office.
