As for No. 4, this is my ultimate goal.
I have been discussing with Japanese lawyers in the past couple of months to prepare for this issue. To achieve this goal,
* early intervention program has to be in line with the national budget and national policy.
* lobbying activities are limited to Japanese entities. Therefore, I decided to make my own company for lobbying activity as Japanese entity.

As for No.3, there are many schools where the students can learn about therapy but they hardly know about the job as a therapist in Japan.
Even at the large hospitals, therapists are part-timers. Therefore, the students do not choose the therapists as their jobs after the graduation. Their parents hope that they will find more stable full time job.

As for No2, my ideal therapists are as follows;
* Having knowledge not only ABA but also other methods.
* Having knowledge and understanding of major Japanese therapy that utilize short hours per week.
* loving a child with special needs as one person.
* Being able to offer many different types of methods appropriate for each children.
* Being able to become a good counselor for parents.
* Trying their best to offer the therapy which the parent want for their children. (Even if that was Japanese style therapy)

As for 1), as you have know already, Japanese people think about early intervention as follows;
No. 1 = They do not know the children with special needs can catch up with their peers by early intervention
No. 2 = They tend to hide their children with special needs from public
No. 3 = Under current circumstances in Japan, the children with special needs often can not live independently, and the parents do not have any hope in their children's future.
No. 4 = Most of the parents who know the early intervention believe that the therapy session should be done by the parents, not other professionals.

These are the things that I am trying to do.
1) Conceptual reform of early intervention for development disorders in Japan
2) Education of therapists whom the parents consider as ideal therapists
3) Establishment of job status for therapists on early intervention in Japan
4) Lobbying to Japanese government for early intervention including subsidies for therapy
